Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Germantown is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Germantown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I’ve been coming to Love My Car Carwash in Germantown for quite some time, but this was my first experience with their Super Clean service, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I pulled into the car wash line, the staff was friendly, courteous, and welcoming. The Super Clean service includes steam cleaning and a mini detail of both the interior and exterior, and it exceeded my expectations. The team paid attention to every detail, cleaning every crevice of my vehicle and even making the wheels look like new. It was obvious they took pride in their work. For only $65, I thought the service was an incredible value. My vehicle looked fantastic when they were finished. I highly recommend Love My Car Carwash to anyone looking for quality work and excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be back!
